Granola recipe

I have mentioned in breakfast inspirations homemade granola. Finally, I have found time to add the recipe to blog. I am active mum, love sports, hiking and backpacking and granola is something great to have always around. This nutritious, lightweight, high in calories and easy to store, therefore good for outdoor activities even with kids.


From time to time, I like to start day with granola and yogurt or fresh fruits. So enjoy that pleasure with me ๐Ÿ™‚


What do you need and how to prepare:

1 box of cereals (whichever you like and prefer)

1 kilo of roasted oatsย 

ยฝ kilo (500 g) of sunflower seeds

ยฝ kilo (500 g) of sesame seeds

ยผ kilo (250 g) of coconut flakesย 

ยผ kilo (250 g) of white raisins

ยผ kilo (250 g) of red raisins

ยผ kilo (250 g) of walnuts

ยผ kilo (250 g) of almonds (flakes)

ยฝ kilo (500 g) amaranth seeds

ยฝ bowl of honey (depends on what size do you pick)

2/3 bowl of oil

Firstly, heat up honey with oil in a pan. In the mean time, mix allย ingredients together in a big pan suitable for the oven. When honey and oil are warm, mix it properly with all ingredients. Make sure, that honey and oil get in touch with all ingredients.


Put the ready mix into the preheat oven (150 degrees) and mix it every 5 minutes. Bake it 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, cool it down and store it in the close place ๐Ÿ™‚
