The Thirsty Bear, Pub Revolutionised, London – food restaurant review

When our aupair arrived we went for few tours to central London and on of our tours ended up in The Thirsty Bear and lunch there. And I will start with first impression – I love that pub! You are warmly welcomed there and it is baby friendly as well (at least for us it was). My husband loves burgers and being hungry, it was our choice. This pub offers variety of burgers, dogs and you can find English mains or salads.

Firstly, we went for refreshment. And beer won. Guess what – Czech beer won, Kozel. it is one of my favourite Czech beers and I was really pleased have it from tank. And really nice thing is, that you can serve your beer directly on your table as they have pipes directly leading there πŸ™‚ I love it!

Afterwards, we went for main dish. Me and my husband went for burgers – both made as we wished. I went for beef burger with pulled pork, vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, avocado), cheese, mayo and fries on side. My husband (hungry man!) went for beef burger with pulled pork, jalapeno, vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, onion), cheese, mayo and baked potatoes on side.

Our aupair, she went for English classic – cod with fries and mashed peas and tartare sauce! First time in UK, going out… Great choice! πŸ™‚

The Thirsty Bear is original pub and I can say now – one of my favourite ones. The food was amazing. Everything well done, portions incredible… Simply number one! If you want to eat well and enjoy lovely pub atmosphere in London, go there! Recommended!

Additionally, something what I really liked πŸ˜€

    1. Hello Rhonda! This place is really cool. My husband took me there after walking around London 😌 It is really interesting, you mainly can find beers from Belgium or Germany, Czech are famous, but not easy to find. Ah, we do! 😍 This place is full of everything and from different corners of world! πŸ™ƒ How are you? Still enjoying the new member of family? Hugs from here!

      1. Hi Vero– think it would be awesome to live in London! We lived in Spain for 12 years and drove/took the ferry up to London a few times– so much history and so much life there! And– fun to find a taste of home! It looked like a beautiful place to enjoy a meal! xox
