Gnocchi, gnocchi and gnocchi again 🙂 I love those! Finally, I have decided to make them by myself. We are big fans of broccoli at home, so I use it almost everything and this time is not different… 🙂 Delicious, easy and quick dinner.
What do you need for gnocchi:
200 g of flour
200 g of corn flour
1 spoon of salt
10 cl of cold water
What do you need for the rest of the dish:
500 g turkey breast
400 g broccoli
grated lactose free cheese (or whichever you prefer – gorgonzola, cheddar)
125 ml lactose free cream
1 spoon of sweet paprika powder
salt and pepper
Before I started with gnocchi preparation, I prepared everything else. Cut turkey breast into small pieces and marinate them with sweet paprika powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Heat up oil in the pan and fry turkey pieces until soft. When ready, put them aside. While frying turkey, steam broccoli. Together with that, grate cheese according to your taste into the bowl, mix it with lactose free cream, salt and pinch of pepper.
When everything ready, I started with gnocchi preparation. Whisk eggs with cold water in bowl. Add salt, mix both flours together evenly and stir the mixture until the smooth dough is formed. The amount of flour is not decisive. You can adjusted it depending on how does the dough looks like. You may use more or less of it. The whole process does not take more than 3 minutes. When ready, prepare shape of gnocchi according to your taste and fantasy. Take a big pot with water and bring it to boil. Afterwards, put gnocchi by teaspoon into the boiling and slightly salted water and cook it until flowing on the top. Then cook for 1 – 2 minutes and take them out. Cook gnocchi in stages.
When all ready, mix freshly cooked gnocchi with turkey breasts in baking tray or ceramic pan, put broccoli on top and spread cheese with cream on top. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and bake the gnocchi until the cheese is slightly golden.
Afterwards, you can enjoy creamy dinner 🙂
