Soup again 🙂 To be honest, soup is one of my favorites. Mainly during cold and grey days such are these now here. not long time ago, I got inspired by Kreso and his recipe with chickpea. We usually have chickpea at home for hummus preparation so why not try soup as well 🙂 And here we go!
What do you need:
150 g Spanish chorizo
400 g can chickpea
1 tsp sweet paprika powder
1 tbsp hot chilli powder (chili flakes)
1 chicken stock
Take a medium pot, add olive oil and chopped onion. Heat it up and fry it until golden. In the mean time, cut Spanish chorizo and add it into the pan with onion. Add sweet paprika powder and hot chilli powder and fry it together, however do not burn it otherwise the soup will be biter. Afterwards, add Mexican chorizo and chopped tomatoes, followed by water with chicken stock. Add cut cabbage and drained chickpeas. Stir well everything together and cook it until the cabbage is just tender. Additionally, you can add salt and pepper according to your taste. At the end – just enjoy this soup!
