It is not that long that I have posted about gorditas! Today, we had them for breakfast again. To be honest, I really like them – the most with potatoes, picadillo and frijoles (the other ones are delicious too, however my tongue is still not used to that much spicy food) 🙂 And today, my little monkey, has fallen in love with them as well. He finished one gordita with frijoles! You may thing it is nothing, but my mummy brain is jumping with happiness. He is growing, starting to join us with food and enjoying it with us! And other thing… he has been already couple of days (actually since 24th December) with pain and fever as his first upper molars are growing and did not want to eat much. So, my happiness is really big 🙂
And while eating gorditas, I wanted to really find nice article and information about gorditas preparation and here it is! Mexican Food Journal is showing tia Vicky and her gorditas. So have a look! One thing is recipe which I have gotten from family, but second thing is to see it and get a courage do it by yourself.
Have a great day, my blogger friends!
Vero and little Canito ❤
I am Aunt Vicky “I’m Aunt Vicky; take a seat and I will prepare some delicious gorditas encarceladas for you” we were told by a kind, tenacious woman with a glow about her in the town of Estación Catorce in the state of San Luis Potosí. “Jailed Gorditas” Tia Vicky sells gorditas encarceladas, which means…

Hi Vero– I think they are very close in age. Our Lois is so fun as well– toddling everywhere and trying everything. I just bought tickets to fly up the last week in January to stay for a week and watch her while her mom works. Can’t wait! I think you are back home now. How did Canito manage the long flight?? hugs hugs!

Hello Rhonda! Our little one is born at the end of October 2016 🙂 I somehow remember that they are very close. Ah, you are going to have a great week! Actually, he was amazing. He slept almost the whole flight and even jet lag is already gone. I have to say, I am lucky mum… or I have great boy 😀 Hugs!!!
