I had freezer full of shrimps and most of the time we prepare curry. So this time… a bit of change – Mojo shrimp.
What do you need:
750 g shrimps
rice
7 garlic cloves
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lime juice
1 tsp ground cumin
dried oregano
salt and pepper
black sesame seeds
olive oil
Before you start cooking, prepare marinade firstly. Take a bowl and add orange juice, lime juice, crushed garlic cloves, cumin, oil and oregano. Season it wit salt and pepper according to your taste and mix everything properly together. Keep half of the marinade separately for a bit later. When ready, add shrimps into the bowl, mix it and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes. Take a big pan and add oil. Heat up the pan with oil and add shrimps afterwards. Cook it for couple of minutes. When ready, add the rest of the marinade into the pan and let it simmer. In the mean time, prepare rice.
When everything ready – enjoy this interesting dish! And of course, your upcoming weekend!

He hasn’t tried it yet. I am waiting with sea food a bit as we found out in Mexico that he has allergies to fruits (most probably because of being premature) and was recommended to us to wait with sea food, nuts and certain types of food.. So, a bit later for him 😉 However this dish is very fresh. My husband loves it 🙃Take care, Rhonda! And have a great trip. I was wondering if you have already gone or not 😉
