I hope you all had a great weekend. We had lot of rain (as usual) here in UK, however it was nice family time. I have not had much time to post something and many things are pending. However, my car is sorted out (for now and it will last for a while) and we have started “juicing month” with my husband. As we had holiday full of delicious food and our Mexican family is arriving in June for couple of weeks so it will be time of great food too, we decided to have “lighter” month. Basically, juicing during the day and something nice for dinner. However, before I start about that, I want to share with you this great post about Cinco de Mayo.
As a partly Mexican family, all celebrations matter to me and this is not any different. Conci de Mayo (Battle of Puebla day or as well called Battle of Cinco de Mayo) celebration is not that important as Mexico’s Independence Day, however it is a day of national holiday in Mexico. This day is an official holiday in state of Puebla (as it is related to it straight away) 🙂
I have no idea what I am going to prepare this year, however I am definitely going to get inspired by post below. So you celebrate Cinco de Mayo as well? 🙂
Have a great day, my friends! I am going back to laboratory “to make science” for now 🙂

You’ve got two options for celebrating Cinco de Mayo this weekend. You could gather with friends and family to discuss the details of the Battle of Puebla when an under-equipped Mexican army halted French advances on May 5, 1862. 32 more words
