    • Easy Tamales Recipe — Mexican Please

It has been already some time I have posted about Mexican Tamales 🙂 I have found this very nice recipe – just the word “easy” does not sound as I would call it 😀 Everything else but easy 😀 However, it is about perspective, isn’t it? To be honest, I am not planning to prepare tamales any time soon, however this recipe has caught my attention so I am sharing it with you as well…

Have I told you that our aupair is leaving us? It has came as surprise, to be honest. She does not look convince that she wants to leave, but she is leaving… At the beginning I was sad and disappointed, however I do understand it and there is nothing I can do about it. After checking few options during the weekend I was a bit upset, but at the end… I called our previous Mexican aupair. And guess what… she is coming back!! 🙂 It has been such a relief. We know her, she knows my little one so not bad feelings at the beginning, that much fear… it seems it is going to work well! 🙂 Now when I am thinking about it she may bring some delicious tamales!

It’s rare to find the words easy and tamales in the same sentence, but with a few simple tricks you can make a scrumptious batch of tamales without having to devote an entire day to them. 34 more words

    • White nectarine and pear Sangria

      Hello everyone!

I hope, you weekend was great and full of good mood. Mine was. Lazy with hot days and during those days, I have prepared Sangria. This original Spanish drink, classically with red wine, is something very nice during summer if you like wine 🙂 And with addition of delicious fruit… even better. However, I am not a fan of red wine and mainly during hot summer days. But I was so inspired by one of my last posts so, I have gone with white wine option and I have to say… Delicious 🙂

What do you need for jar for 2:

      2 large nectarines

      2 pears

      2 cups of peach juice

      1 cup orange juice

1/2 bottle of white wine (I have gone for Moscato)

      ice cubes

      sparkling water

Firstly, prepare your fruit – remove pits, seeds and middle parts, cut them into slices. Put all slices into the big jar and add peach juice together with orange one. It was not easy for me to get a peach juice so I guess mango one would be good too. Afterwards, add half of the bottle of white wine. Stir well and add sparkling water together with ice cubes. If I had a mint leaves, I would add them as well, but this time not 🙂

Serve into glasses with even more ice cubes and enjoy this hot summer with nice glass of drink!
