It has been already some time I have posted about Mexican Tamales 🙂 I have found this very nice recipe – just the word “easy” does not sound as I would call it 😀 Everything else but easy 😀 However, it is about perspective, isn’t it? To be honest, I am not planning to prepare tamales any time soon, however this recipe has caught my attention so I am sharing it with you as well…
Have I told you that our aupair is leaving us? It has came as surprise, to be honest. She does not look convince that she wants to leave, but she is leaving… At the beginning I was sad and disappointed, however I do understand it and there is nothing I can do about it. After checking few options during the weekend I was a bit upset, but at the end… I called our previous Mexican aupair. And guess what… she is coming back!! 🙂 It has been such a relief. We know her, she knows my little one so not bad feelings at the beginning, that much fear… it seems it is going to work well! 🙂 Now when I am thinking about it she may bring some delicious tamales!

And we are in the middle of the week again. The weather in UK is absolutely amazing last few weeks and I am enjoying it with my little one incredibly much. Not like those grey days… 🙂 As our family left back to Mexico, our house is so quiet and to be honest, I really miss them. Hopefully, we can see them soon… Before I post something from my kitchen, I want to share with you Sangria drink. I am sure, many of you know it… In Czech Republic this drink is not that popular (we are beer lovers) and I am not big fan of red wine myself… But Sangria, I can have ❤ And why not during beautiful summer!
Have a nice day everyone!

Sangria Sangria is one of the few drinks I remember my father preparing at home. He would make it only on Christmas Eve or New Years’ Eve, and he made the Natural Sangria using grenadine syrup instead of white syrup. 757 more words

Time flies incredibly fast and mainly when you have things to do 🙂 And as I am finishing preparation for our family, I am thinking about something delicious Mexican to prepare in Czech Republic while visiting my family 😀 As well my work is going incredibly well and I have been loaded with amazing projects… Once I finish today’s dinner (as we have just something simple) I am going to update you what’s going on in my kitchen, In the mean time… Check this amazing Mole sauce. I have already shown you other type of Mole sauce and this one is as delicious as previous one!

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend. Our was quiet, with friends who just have just gotten pregnant… so happy news!!! 🙂 Other than that… We are getting ready for arrival of our Mexican family next week!! ❤ Time really flies and I cannot wait to see them again.
And as I am in Mexican mood – Pico de Gallo is great raw salsa with whatever you fancy! 🙂 I have many of my own posts pending, however I have hidden my SD card with photos somewhere so my little one would not find it and guess what happened – mummy cannot find it either 😀 So today, after work, mission “find SD card” will start and I can share with you what has happened in our table over the weekend!
Have a great week everyone! ❤

I hope you all had a good time during the weekend. We have again nice and sunny time here in UK, maybe you saw it in TV while watching Royal wedding. To be honest, we did not spend time in front of TV much as our little one wants to be outside and I prefer that! 🙂 So our weekend is full of sunshine and BBQ as well. And as meat went on grill, I did not want to have beef anymore 😀 so I have gone for cajun seasoned chicken. However, it was quite decent amount and we have not finished everything so tacos with shredded chicken and different types of salsa were next option 🙂 So… if you do not know what do do with chicken which you had during previous day, you can try something from recipes below 🙂 Delicious!
And as I was talking about weekend… I have started new “projects” 🙂 Renovation of old furniture. I have started with chair which I have next to my dressing table and finally, I had time and finished it yesterday! But I am more excited about armchair which I have brought at home on Friday… Someone did not want to have anymore very nice wooden armchair, perfect for a bit of love so I took it from “rubbish”, cleaned it and started with first renovation parts and even paint… However, I am going to share with you more a lit a bit later, when all the work is done 🙂 ❤
Have a great day!

I have just bought flight tickets to Czech Republic for our holiday in June when my husband’s family is going to be in Europe as well. So.. we have decided to spend some time together with both parents 🙂 And while thinking about my next post and reading your posts, I have came across this great avocado tips 🙂 I have fallen in love with avocado because of my husband as in Czech Republic this fruit is not common at all and when you find it, it is pretty expensive. Now, I eat them almost every day with delicious food or just by itself. Precious fruit ❤
Avocado trees do not self-pollinate; they need another avocado tree close by to bear fruit. The avocado is an Aztec symbol of love and fertility, and they also grow in pairs on trees.
Have a good night!

The essence of most New Year’s food resolutions could be distilled into a single sentence… Eat more avocados. Avocados are one of those rare superfoods that actually taste good, so it’s no surprise they are more popular now than they’ve ever been. 30 more words
